Turns out a new front bar is surprisingly cheap from Nissan and they have them in the Melbourne warehouse. 613 for the unpainted bar and 200ish for the grille. Few hundred for paint and its still going to come in under my excess.

That's pretty good considering a front bar from Z1 is 542 us, the grill is in two portions Upper and lower.

that is a fair call how hard is it getting one out of japan?
I don't know yet, depends how much of a hard time I get from customs. Will take about at least a month.

I will be posting a lot of pictures when it arrives ;)

Less than 30 min after arriving spottoed a yellow one out of train window.

Hopefully bodes well for rest of trip.

So a week in Japan but mostly work.

Did hit up Nissan crossing and Nismo factory in some down time so grabbed a few goodies.

Anybody in the Melbourne area recommend a tuner?

I've been trying to reach Chequered Tuning for a couple of weeks to get my Z tuned, since they're the only ones i know of that have ecutek, and got no reply or response from them.

Same boat here, emailed them about 3 weeks back and haven't heard anything which is strange as they used to be quite prompt with their emails.

Well, their loss I guess. Just got booked in with Cosmic Performance, they have Ecutek, bit more pricy, but I need the tune done.

EDIT

I redact my statement, i got a booking with chequered tuning!
