I’m contemplating asking my dealer putting the deposit towards the Nismo Z…

Deposit in August 2021 but, honestly, I get the vibe it really doesn't matter that much any more.

Had word from the dealer that the vehicle they ordered for me has been built.
Now they just have to get it on a ship.

Some goodies arrived this week!
(POV that feeling when a shipment arrives early when you aren't there to receive it and your wife has to sign. Then she messages you asking if you ordered a whole load of boxes that look like car parts. Then she starts with the tough questions like "what are they for?" "Did you need them?" And "what's wrong with the ones you had?")

I saw the revised price $80,345 (blue coupe) on the Nissan website as well. However, if the Z no longer incurs any LCT, then the new price should be less than the new Nissan price - ie, the saving should be greater than $660 if there is zero LCT - unless Nissan has upped the price of the car itself - or increased the dealer delivery fee from what I think is/was $1895.

just went past the dealer this afternoon, sales guy was on leave, his boss revised my driveway price, now $1010 less than pre sales tax change

Is she also aware there’s a new car coming to store them on?
More seriously - I got excited about the idea of wheel spacers until I learned they are considered illegal in every Australian state. Voids insurance and leave you exposed even with your 3rd party insurance as an illegal mod. Only way to get that look is with new wheels with better offset. Sorry to break that to you if you didn’t already know.

Yeah I know about the laws prohibiting anything between wheel hub and rim- these won't be for road use, I just picked them up to get some better staged photos ?

Excellent news for me; dealer called today and told me mine is clear at the wharf and will be on it's way to them during the week. I may be able to take delivery as early as this time next week, hopefully.

Confirmed, i'll likely be able to pick it up as early as Friday, worst case monday. Won't be able to make it friday anyway, so it'll be saturday, sunday or monday regardless.

For anyone interested, Western Nissan have what i think is a 2nd hand blue auto sitting in the showroom.

Having coffee at Wollongong now and can see the Dugong Ace anchored out ar sea waiting for its docking slot at Port Kembla.
Dealer advised yesterday that he was hoping for my delivery to be approx 1st August
