So with cars being delivered this week. How much do you thi k the flippers will be putting them out here for?

I would like to say 100 but guessing the early protos will be 120k. (Not that means they sell for that but why not ask the world)

Looks great and very pleased they are rolling into dealers.

I might have to wait a while because I live on an island off the coast of a remote island ?.

I am in Melbourne today and tomorrow so might hit up some dealers and see if they have a demo in stock

Just called fern tree gulley Nissan. They have 1 proto that will be delivered to Its owner on Monday and they rightly said it’s not available for viewing.

next cars are about 2 months away

Putting delivery around the end of October. That sounds like the new timeframe that I was offered. Hopefully it's no bloody later than that.

Trying to work out if this is in QLD.. though think I spot a VIC rego in the background..

Edit: Found it! all that Geocashing during lockdowns paid off.

Assuming your car?

Thanks Jezza. Bundoora showroom is close to where I live.
I went down there about an hour ago and it was centre stage in the showroom.
I totally agree with what West Aussie said. It is so much better in the flesh than pics and youtube. I previously had concerns that it felt like two different designs (front to back). I couldn't be more wrong. Standing next to it in person it felt like one cohesive design. I am so relieved and I think i will be able to relax through the wait now. :)

Thanks @West Aussie. Mia is who I’ve been dealing with. BUT THAT’s MY CAR - at least exact same spec as what I ordered.
Sorry to tell you …it’s a Demo, they have to keep it for 9 months… ridiculous I know
Particularly as Mia said that they are now not even permitted to take new orders until next year and the back log clears.

So you got a demo of a car you can’t sell, except you have a customer who ordered months ago …just silly.

But it is what it is, hopefully it means ours are on the way

How many cars realistically will be delivered this week…next to none. Most of the ones we have seen are demos, and not permitted to sell for 9 months

Exactly my thoughts…will add that even though I couldn’t drive it, I could sit in it and shift gears.
Gear shifts are nice and short…didn’t seem notchy to me at all, and no sign of second gear issues
Either the Canadian reviewers got old media cars, or a dud …or they just can’t drive…because the transmission felt sweet

@West Aussie i know your not a huge fan of grays, but what did you think about that color in person? also, does the paint quality look good?
Paint quality looked good. As to the colour it’s gray…if you like gray I think you will be happy it’s nice as grays go.
I’m glad I’m getting a bright colour, but that’s just personal
