Hey you never know.

Can't wait to see pics next week technically. lol.

but really :(.
I was told July by Nissan corporate themselves as they happened to be in the dealership when I dropped in…but I don’t think it’s looking too good for that timeline at present

when I paid deposit to the local dealer their estimate was approx October this year, it looks like they may have been close to the mark all along the way things are going

Nissan Australia are still advertising "mid 2022" and there's been no mention of delays. It seems that August, September and October delivery might be dealer speculation.
I shall remain optimistic until we hear official word.

Has anyone thought about an advanced driver training course, this Z has a lot of power, and in lots of reviews we see them loosing the rear end even with stability control on, never had an issue with my 370Z but this car brings the power on a lot quicker.

@takemorepills made a good point in another thread…usually dealer training happens around a month before the car goes on sale.
I could have sworn I had read somewhere that Aus dealers had already had a meeting on the car and been trained, but it could be wishful thinking.
Can anyone else remember this, or is it just my brain making things up that I want to be true?

I was initially told my dealer (werribee, Melbourne westside) would have a car for viewing only on 29th July, but then that had since been changed and they will now have a car sometime in August available for test drive.

They also gave me a proper electronic contract with pricing. The total comes to 82k (manual seiran blue) when I asked about things like luxury car tax threshold about to change he said the total will remain the same regardless, which doesn't seem particularly fair. I will be getting the floor mats & full tank of fuel (to be expected when shelling out 82k imo)

How does this compare to others pricing? What prices do you guys have?

Alright... I'm heading down to the dealership now... They MUST know something new.
Go gettem @jezzza
Although, I sent an email direct to Nissan Aus…and this is the response they sent me, which I thinks a bit rich considering it seems they are not keeping dealers in the loop…but hey, pass of the complaints to dealerships regardless.
For context, I asked if there were any updates and those who have deposits down would appreciate a quick email outlining expected timelines because many dealers have differing information and it’s getting very frustrating as a consumer…this is the reply

No one has a proper contract yet because the dealers still are ordering through the back door. It might be an updated contract from your dealer to help them, the cars pricing is in the system but not the ability to order it yet…at least that’s what I and the majority have been told
Pricing is standard as per ACCC rules the dealers must honour advertised pricing on the website.
Mines 83159….but that’s because our road taxes are the most expensive in Aus…I believe WA is the most expensive

As to LCT I thought this would be the case, there is a discussion surrounding this, because if the price is listed and it’s reduced so should the actual car price, but I didn’t think it would be the case, so like you I’ll be haggling for mats and fuel
