So same dealer…I’m wondering if the early orders get a slightly early delivery date or if it’s been pushed back a month …particularly as all orders were asked to be confirmed two weeks back?

I get being over black…I’m getting a yellow non proto, and the only thing I feel I’m missing out on is the nice yellow accent interior, the rest is neither here nor there ( to me at least) but I think the red interior will clash with the Rosewood ( two different reds) …maybe blue if your desperate for inside change, just not sure how it will go
@West Aussie I didn't think there was a yellow non proto I thought proto was only yellow???

No you can get yellow in any car.

It is just that the Proto Spec is only available in Yellow which unfortunately makes the Proto a little less special considering it isn't exclusive to it.

I told the dealer that a friend in Melb got a order form from the dealership at $74k... after $500 deposit.

She said that that was a bit low (!?)... and prices vary between states...

So do the damn deposits. I've had the highest I've heard of at 5k. All has to be paid eventually and i get that but nissan Australia need to get their shit together.

One question for the crew here… will the new Z come with Adaptive Cruise Control?

Im not aware of Nissan’s technology but images do show a radar in the front grill but that could just be for pedestrian safety…

I’m assuming that there won’t be lane keep assist like Mercedes or BMW where the car stays in the lane for 20/30/40 seconds and steers itself… also changing lanes. It’s not the full Tesla spec level.

It will come with Intelligent Cruise Control which I assume might be adaptive.

Don't think it will will have it. If these are the features you are looking for maybe the Z isn't for you as it is meant to be a drivers sports car jk ?.

I personally will be turning off/disabling as many of these features as I can!

Yes, they call it ICC (intelligent cruise control) on the spec sheet. You'll have lane departure warning but not lane keep assist.

*edit - Tdawg bet me to it.
