but damn those proto wheels are sooo much nicer than the plain black ones pop much better and have nice shadows/reflection unlike the black ones that just vanish.
Yes they are sweet. I am looking for a set of Proto wheels or bronze TE37s
If anyone in South East Queensland wants to offload a set, PM me please :)

Was driving past the other nearish dealer last week and saw they had a yellow car in.

Had time today so went back in to have look.
And it was a customer proto just in.

the yellow is nice. But think personally the blue works more for me.

wonder what a set of those will be at ACM in 3-4 years.
Might have been mine in for tint and ceramic coating. The Proto wheels are gorgeous

Two points:
1. Can confirm. The blue is amazing.
2. Love the bronze wheels. Saw them on a proto spec here in the US and they should be an option (not that Nissan really does options in the US).

Same, no update. Not expecting anything as it didn't look like many boats were scheduled at the moment. Personal guess is July onwards. Hopefully the cars are being kept undercover or it'll be clay bar time when they finally arrive!
When it finally arrives its going straight in to get ceramic coated and tinted and then I'll drive it home.

So all this talk of build and delivery dates made me go and check mine for the build date which I hadn’t even looked at. Does anybody know where the compliance plate is on these things? I can find a VIN sticker but it doesn’t have a build date on it.

*according to my final order paperwork Build date was 1 December 2022. March 23 compliance. Took delivery 4 April.

Hearing more rumours about more production delays stating that if you have not yet been allocated a car yet that delivery will now be approx mid 2024.
Have seen this on fb and also two dealers state virtually the same news.

yeah dealers will say nearly anything.
the principle (not the one I normally deal with) when test drivesaid there were 4000 orders in....

so a dealer saying to some-one oh your really lucky you got to deal with us as else you would be waiting till mid 2024..I take with a grain of salt

now if I was to hear the next lot were MY24 models that would make more sense than Mid2024 deliveries.

and being Nissan USA have already announce MY24 GTR that would be inline.

@loudsx I agree 100% So much differing information

But even without anyone saying anything.
People that were told Dec/Jan build with April/May/June delivery (about 6mths lead) are still only just getting or are still waiting for cars.
So it makes sense that others that haven't yet heard anything will be waiting to 2024.
If I were to receive a call today, saying my build had been allocated and the car was being built in June. I wouldn't really expect until close to December unless Nissan have drastically improved what ever the hold up is.

to think there will be none now for 12 months is insane.
