Maybe your dealer is mistaken, and it IS on the boat alreadyYeah mate, that's about the gist of it and to an extent, I do sympathise with the dealers, but ive been in business myself and I certainly didn't take paying customers for granted. This is a transaction first and foremost and it shouldn't take the lot of us dropping a line in and having a fish to get a fucking update that is a further delay of 2 months if not longer.
This is the exact shit people are fed up with. As soon as there's some new update in relation to the damn vehicle, email that shit out. I'm not in any rush for the vehicle per-se, but that 5k I put down entitles me to a fucking handful of emails throughout the course of this transaction is what I'm thinking.
Who knows why the other lad has his proto on the water and mine still being made though. This ordering system is whack.
Feel for you coupe lot. Its looking like that much longer if a wait...at least we'll have a MY23 build date though, i guess
Anyhow, I need a drink before I fly out tomorrow.
As you say it dosent make much sense that one has confirmation of the VIN and it’s on its way, and yours is yet to be built.
OR as we spoke about before, maybe because they squeezed a bit bigger allocation of the Proto out, your build is in fact the second not first build …I’m not trying to make excuses, you know me and how frustrated I am. I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on.
Nothing really makes any sense….this being one thing, but things like shipping half a dozen cars for the media and more than likely paying premium to do so due to the small amount, when they could wait 2 months and ship them all out and save money.
Also continued advertising everywhere..even on the back of a bus FFS when the cars are not here and they have orders for a year in advance is also a very questionable way to spend money for a financially struggling company if you ask me.
Said it before, I’ll say it again…I reckon they need a mum in head office to kick some butts and make rational financial decisions
I see in Nissans Facebook page that it’s not unique to the Z, with people who have had orders for the Qashqai and a number of other models placing orders a year ago and also becoming increasing frustrated.
Really all we want is some communication….thing is, unless you want a Mazda, Hyundai, or Impreza the wait fr everything else is going to be at least 9 months..lso at this stage we are stuck between a rock and a hard place
