It is done. Got my title from the State of Arizona. Went to DMV. Got my State of California plates. Drilled the holes. Installed the front plate. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

That's not right over the sonar detectors?
It's down a bit over the cruise sonar sensor but it seems to work. That said, mine is a manual so I don't use cruise anyways. The parking sensors all work and it looks so much better.

I can always change it later but to my eye the car looks lower with the plate further down. I tried it up for a few days and ended up moving it back down.

Updating my answer: if I had the 2024 NISMO Z (which I won't), I would not mount the front license plate at the location shown here. It covers the "beak". Looks ridiculous.

Anyone found any solutions except the Mishimoto and Craven models? There doesn't seem to be any way to center the plate without drilling holes in the grille

My plates finally showed up (thank you, DMV). I didn't like cutting out the cover for the tow hook any more for the Mishimoto device than I liked drilling holes for the bracket, and the downward-tilting Craven apparatus looked strange.
Time for a DYI mod that I previously used on my Boxster. I drilled 4 holes in the edges of the plate, bent it so it matched the curve in the grille, and applied some adhesive foam weather-stripping around the periphery of the back to prevent rubbing on anything. Then I threaded 4 wires through the grille (harder than it looks) and the newly drilled plate holes. The plate sits above the sonar sensor area and doesn't obstruct air flow any more than the OEM bracket would.

I find it rather ironic that the "Live free or die" state requires a front plate.

P.S. I'm glad they put the Old Man of the Mountain on the plate. Unfortunately I never got a chance to see it in person.

Live Free or Die has never been true here...they won't even legalize weed, meanwhile every state around us has been rakin in the dough by doing so.

"Live Free or Die" was true enough 200 years ago, as a toast used by a Revolutionary War soldier, Gen John Stark. It was previously used in the French Revolution.
