Front end conversion will it swap? Nissan Z front end on 370Z?

Z34 owners, would you be interested in doing a front end conversion?

1. Do you guys think the front end will be easily swappable?
2. If so, is anyone here planning on doing a front end conversion on your 370Z?

It's bound to happen sooner or later. I would be curious to see how it would all come together.

Even if it was a simple bolt on job idk if the Z35 front would look good on a Z34 body.
If you overlay the two pics all the hard points do line up.

Even if the hood, bumper, headlights and fenders bolted right up when looking at the car head on, I probably wouldn't say easily swappable since the front fenders aren't the same shape where they meet the door. There will be a gap, overlap or some of both without reshaping that part of the fender to match the line on the 370. The A pillar doesn't line up and it looks like the front part of the sideskirt would need some modification.

Taken from Kirk's other thread. I don't think it looks all that bad.

We should poll asking 370Z owners to see who is willing to try a swap.

this reminds of when i was looking at r32's. there was a conversion kit that you could purchase to make front end look like an r34 including use of r34 headlights.

It doesn't look like it will fit to me without extensive modification. Mainly the headlights and outer portions of the fender are a lot different.
