What about regular rivets?
THen you have to drill out or cut if plastic to remove. A rivnut sets a threaded insert than you screw in

I’m concerned the screw would back itself out over time. Blue locktite or a lock washer to help prevent that?

You can do that - should not back out - not much weight on it - put 5 or 6 in at least - should be good

Anyone know the size of the correct rivet? One of the rivets got damaged and I am trying to see which is the correct rivet size and correct drill bit to drill it off.

I set the chin spoiler on my Performance with RivNuts, since the rivnuts became a mainstream deal I've use them to mount everything that has push clips or asks for regular rivets as a mounting solution, so much easier when having to remove!!!
