To accomplish the same thing for far cheaper, add a gallon of E85. HEET is just a bottle of denatured alcohol, which is exactly what E85 is. Absorbs the moisture right out of the fuel system and burns it clean through your engine.Run some HEET water remover through on a full tank before you panic. Do it every 6 months with a season change. When the fuel pumps stop pumping due to load, water will move around in the filter and maybe even other areas in the tank. It's a lot more common than people think and just 2-3 weeks ago a person couldn't get their car to start and stay running once it was turned off after warm. He put HEET in it like I told him and says it took several but it's fine now.
Car is tuned via Z1, its repeatable so it should be a tell tale in the data logsI haven't experienced that on the Z, but have on other cars that were tuned with intakes/cams, and needed further refining to the ECU maps.
If your car is stock, that's a job for warranty to take care of.
