Hello,
I'm having hard time using the Drive Mode switch by the shifter. I tried it several times but it doesn't switch from Sport to Normal or vice versa. Your input please.
Thanks

Mine works fine. It seems in any mode, I.e., driving, parked, etc. And car distinctly reacts differently.
Dashboard also clearly indicates the mode.

Mine works fine too. Is this a new occurrence that has happened or you’ve not found it working ever since you got the car…?

It's directional.

Up will always be sport and down will always be Standard (in a non-nismo.) I once thought mine was broken too cause I thought it would just cycle through the modes whatever direction I pressed.

The dash tells you what mode you are in.

I just got the car in July 2025 and it has only 2,400 miles.. Just recently thought about using the drive modes switch by the shifter.
When I press the switch next to the shifter up, it shows the mode sport on the dash. Then I press ok using the steering wheel button but the switch doesn't take place and the dash still reflects to the same mode as standard.
The manual says that "the vehicle may not switch modes instantly, which is a normal characteristic of the system" Not sure what that means.
Your Thoughts please.

I may be using the switch incorrectly. Should I just push it up and wait for the switch to take place instead of using the steering wheel buttons?

"the dash still reflects to the same mode as standard."
- The dash won't change pictures/colour - only thing is some small text that now says "sport" instead of "standard"

"Should I just push it up and wait for the switch to take place instead of using the steering wheel buttons?"
- Yes :)

When you’re cruising along, say, in 6,7,or 8 gear and you swap from Standard to Sport, you may feel & see the car downshift a gear or 2.

You need to hold the button down for a few seconds

It works after holding the switch for a couple of seconds between gears 6 and 8 and wait for the switch to happen. It's great.
Thank you all very much!
