Make sure you check the paint around the headlights,this is going to be a problem for a lot cars built Mar/Apr 2022I just received my Proto 6 speed manual on February 13th. I was supposed to receive this vehicle at the end of August. The cause of the delay was the 6 speed manual recall. Beautiful vehicle.

Looks Fantastic!! I am having my Proto Ceramic Coated instead. Xpel is pricey ?. I had my Vette done with System X Ceramic. The results are amazing! I can’t recommend that product enough. Of course you have to have an experienced installer.Post Xpel PPF installation.

Good Choice!! I live in south suburb of Indy and roads are nice, traffic is lighter than NYC. Makes sense what you did!! Fyi I have Watanbe Wheels in motion and new rubber to go with it. Your car would look amazing with the Wats!!!

The 23 Z definitely feels quicker from a stop. I plan no upgrades, to keep the Proto stock, to hold its value. I am planning a few trips to Northern Michigan (3-4 hour drives) this summer, I live in southeast Michigan.
Agree on the Proto, preserve it stock, keep its value best! Send pics this summer under diff lighting, I believe that yellow is metallic.

I funny you getting the attention like this. I live in central Indiana and just a few people actually realize what car the Z Proto is. This is the land of Corvettes, Mustangs and monster SUVs and Trucks that get all the attentionJust picked up my new Z from the car spa. My first time driving the new Z. This thing is diabolically fast, I'm going to get into serious trouble! What a head turner here in NYC, constant beeps, thumbs up, and camera clicks. Gives new meaning to the song: I always feel like somebody's watching me.

That's what I figured. The shop I use works on Rick Hendrick's collection. The owner has told me that the paint on the C8 is better than previous generations.
