Anyone else experiencing issues with the dash brightness when it appears dark outside or you go under an overpass and things switch over? No matter what you do with the brightness button, levels 0-99 are the same brightness and level 100 is super bright.
I haven't noticed this yet. So are you saying it's an issue only at night or shady conditions, for example, when the auto headlights are on? Are you using auto headlights when it happens?
I typically drive in the daytime with headlights off. At night, I'll put the headlights into auto mode (which, of course, turns them on). I haven't really experienced the headlights turning on in the shady daytime yet.
Only had my car for a couple months, just started doing some night driving recently. I noticed the same exact thing & was surprised & annoyed. When the headlights are on, the dash is way too bright. And pressing the brightness button ONCE (taking it down just one level) was it way too dim. Nissan could have done better….
yeah noticed this today it was kind of dusk outside sun was setting but still light enough and the dash was too dim when I had the headlights set to auto. when I turned them off it went to full brightness.
the adjuster is kind of broken as all but the last level is dim then full brightness
Yes, but it's usually just been for a second while going under an overpass so I didn't think much of it. It is funny how 1-99 are practically the same and 100 is like looking into the sun. Glad to hear taking the headlights off "Auto" is a solution, I think I prefer manual activation anyways.
