I normally don't drive with my windows down, but decided to do that more often after going to my first HPDE event. I was driving through my workplace's garage and noticed a click sound when I get on the throttle, and a tad after I let off the throttle (The time delay is probably due to the rev hang). It's more apparent when I get on the throttle harder, and off the throttle harder.
Any idea what this sound is? Is it normal?
(1yr old with 7.5K miles).
I tried recording the sound, but the audio was so bad it didn't matter.
Only happens when I'm in gear. I tried doing it in neutral, no click. So it's not the engine, or transmission. Maybe the UJoint on the driveshaft? Or Something around the wheel?
