I currently have 2600 miles on my Z and every time i drive it, i get a burning rubber smell coming out of my engine/tire. I don’t believe i’m riding the clutch a lot. Should I be curious of this issue?

Hey, I’m the one that created that thread that he sent you. I’m at 1800 miles and my car has the smell only when I really start to get on it. The smell quickly dissipates. I don’t usually smell it when I’m just cruising around. I really think it’s some type of engine bay material or rubber that is off gassing. My car is an auto so I don’t think it has anything to do with your transmission. You are right though, it definitely has a burnt rubber smell to it. I looked my car over with a fine tooth comb and I cannot find any issue that would cause it. Car runs great and all fluids are good. Many other Z owners have the same smell going on.
