Pics from today in Chicago.
Boulder Gray is a new color on the Frontier. Are you sure? Boulder Gray Pearl is what it's called on the Frontier.
I asked Dan (the Nissan PR exec on the forum) just this, and he confirmed that the paint codes for all Nissan vehicles called "Boulder Gray" and "Boulder Gray Pearl" are the same. I agree there doesn't appear to be much pearl present in the media we've seen, maybe it is a bit livelier IRL, check at your dealer.Kinda curious in the video they mentioned it's "Boulder Gray Pearl", but so far from all the current pictures (including zoomed cropped of Larry Chen photos) and auto show clips I've seen of the Z in BG, it doesn't look like there's any pearlescent effect to the gray and looks more like a completely flat color. Has anybody seen or heard different?
Awesome photo right here. I'm hoping this is the color they have at the NY Auto show so I can determine if its the color for me. But anyway, I'm really loving it from what I'm seeing. This color is darker in person under conference center lighting so I tried to adjust settings to capture that. Most pictures I see of it make it look way too light. Car looks amazing in this color and I really hope a Nismo model is offered in it.
As for the car itself... first time in person and I'm a little blown away even after seeing a thousand pictures of it. Would probably still body match the katana or black it out but other than that this thing is pretty much perfect to me.

Is white and silver options both Metallic ??What you're talking about is non-metallic paint and it's likely a lower-end of the paint values. It makes the car looks dull. The paint will definitely be cheaper but not sure if the manufacturing process will be cheaper bc of the abnormal paint.
For the non-metallic paint cars, I think it's necessary to protect it (wax, ceramic coat, or PFF) to prevent it from looking less dull. The advantage of metallic paint is the shiny wet look and you can go much longer w/o car wash.
