I might go back to the Xterra if promising, replace my Gladiator.... I do miss my old rig, was very capable! Any of you own or previously own one?

"So what exactly is Nissan offering? Pandikuthira brought up the next generation of the Frontier platform, which will also support the next Pathfinder and the revived Xterra SUV. "If there’s a partner interested in completely differentiating that . . . we’d be interested in a discussion." That platform will have a body-on-frame design and is expected to support a hybrid V-6 powertrain."

I love the old Xterra. Was planning to buy one as a winter/camping warrior buy couldn't find one in a good condition locally. So I got a mint R50 Pathfinder. An Xterra with the 5.6 V8 swap is a dream for me.

In the Middle East they released this garbage version with 4 cylinder 2.5 engine.

Keep the Rubicon. If truly off-roading, there is zero reason to buy anything but a Jeep or Bronco. Nothing will be anywhere near as capable (nod goes to the solid axles and front & rear lockers).

Agree, will be hard to give up my Gladiator, been thru many places, camps, and trails, even Black Bear Pass, CO. But the old Xterra was still hugely capable for an IFS, was a solid rig!
