Hey guys I’ve been looking at exhausts and it’s come down to two that I really like. Both sound great. The problem is I can’t decide and that’s where you come in! Which one sounds better to you?

HKS

AWE
AWE track starts at 12:00
Both are available on the Z1 site so if you’re curious about specs you can check them out on the website. TIA!

AWE is going to be a decent amount louder due to larger piping diameter (3"). Along with that, the track version is going to be significantly louder with no mufflers. I have both the track and touring setups from AWE and they both sound amazing. My favorite sounding exhaust for our cars besides boostlogic.

Be warned that if you plan on adding aftermarket downpipes, the awe track edition is FUCKING LOUD. I mean very spicy lol. It sounds awesome, but it rattles a lot of pieces inside my cabin when paired with downpipes.

If you have downpipes and want an awesome tone, without being too rowdy, go AWE Touring.

If you're worried about too much volume and rasp, keep the stock cats on

Other then that, if you don't mind volume, but hate rasp, go with full 3" hfc or resonated dps. Definitely worth it with aftermarket exhaust

I hAd hks on my 350, it was great. But I want Ti this time. Permanent weight loss. I am sticking with dual though, single exit on a Z is beyond annoying.
