Shoot me a message and save some money on a Stillen Trucontrol tuner!I just don't want to void my warranty until its expired but i'm with you.
you can reload the stock tune just like you can remove a piggyback. dealership will never know. z1 will provide the original stock tune so you can restore your ecu back factory faster than removing a piggyback. you can switch back while you are waiting on the toe truck - lolI just don't want to void my warranty until its expired but i'm with you.
Beyond internet lore where did you hear this? I know for certain this is not the case with the R35, Q60, Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesel, and F150s and this has been the case for at least a decade on most modern cars. In ALL of the above cases peak boost is logged onboard the ECU in flash memory with the exception of the F150 which simply stores a base flag when params fall outside factory specs, specifically so dealers can see regardless if a tune (or piggyback) has been āremovedā. Iād bet a fair chuck that even Will at Stillen will not post here that theirs is undetectable post removal, nor with JB4 etc.you can reload the stock tune just like you can remove a piggyback. dealership will never know. z1 will provide the original stock tune so you can restore your ecu back factory faster than removing a piggyback. you can switch back while you are waiting on the toe truck - lol
