Rear 275/40 18

Those are exactly the same diameter.

Can't go wider than 275 on the stock Sport rims.

My car is not lowered.
Ah ok 18". I still have the stock 19" wheels and want to get either all-season or winter tires in 265/45/19 front and 285/45/19 rear but I think 45s might be too tall.

Michelin Pilot Sport A\S all day all year for those of us need and want to be able to be okay in inclement weather and some spirited driving in dry conditions. No need to change the tire unless on the track. If it all of a sudden snows im good. However anything more than a inch im not hitting the streets in my Z. It will chill until streets are clear of salt and snow.

Are studded tires legal in your area? will snow tires make a difference with these cars that much?

I went down this road years ago with a 2wd pickup. Traded it for a 4x4 taco with K03‘s and ended the madness.

A few years back the roads were dry & clear after a snow / ice storm, i hit a patch of ice (~50 yards stretch) in my s2k on pilot super sports.
This was a a 4 lane road in a curve down hill running ~70mph, lucky i had some road to work with and saved it. Had to clean my shorts out after that one.

as much as i enjoy driving in the snow, i would not want the salt, sand and snow build-up on the bumper, sides and in the wheel well.

I don’t drive the Z in the rain. If i wanted some action, i would just drive the taco in 2wd.

I went with the Michelin Pilot A/S 4 yesterday. Hoping they have enough grip in the snow. They certainly felt great in the rain in the way home. Went with the original size, and original rims.

On a side note, I retained the Yokos, and will probably put them up for sale in the spring once the weather improves.

I ordered the Michelin Pilot A/S 4 yesterday +/- 1,400. Having them installed next Tuesday. I'm keeping the original 007s to sell on Marketplace. I live in Northwest Indiana and I'm not planning on storing the car over the winter.
