In front of each of the front tires. You should also have a little baggie of bolts to go with them. You can get them installed without lifting the car (I had to remove mine to get the car on a UHaul trailer, forgot about them, and just recently reinstalled them).

No need to turn the wheel, that won't change access any. They hang under the front bumper in front of the tires. When you lay down on the garage floor it'll be pretty obvious where they fit.

I removed mine. They were scraping on my slanted driveway, and sometimes driving up on curves to get into a parking lot or parking garage.

interesting,,,i live in the foothills and there is nothing level up here.Most of my driving is under 55 so they really dont do much for mpg.
