Performance Z on track, mods are Gktech trans mount, z1 subframe collars, z1 diff brace. Stock auto muffler, stock mid pipe, z1 350z y pipe, non res LDP. S mode off, and of course the downshifts sound amazing and quite satisfying to do; also it's easy to heel toe in the Z, the pedal position is great, I thought having S mode off would be a pain but honestly it was great. It's also under stated how good this car sounds on track, when it can finally use that long gearing.

Car handles really really well, even though it is the "dreaded" stock tires and suspension (roll bar and springs/dampers). I was seeing an average of 1.4 G's laterally and under braking 1.1 G. Surprisingly, I see a lot of recommendations on brake fluid and pads; I wanted to have a go on a stock setup and was pleasantly surprised. After the long straights it wasn't uncommon to come in hot at nearly 147~ MPH, and I could confidently brake each time. The tires are also really nice, grip is consistent but after 2-3 hot laps crash down a cliff and make over steering an almost common occurrence. I also lost nearly 60% of my tire life in 1 hour of total track time, three 20 minute sessions at 81-84 F. With full traction off the car is really direct and even with a factory setup geared towards under-steer, the car rotated wonderfully around corners. The tires are also communicative at the limit both with sound and feel, they also get hot fast. I started the day at 27 PSI cold for the fronts and nearly had 36 PSI at the end of the second session, all the clips and photos are also from the second session. Temps were, Water 206 F, Oil at it's peak 250F but would chill at 237 F, diff peaked at 301 F.
Any questions, feel free to ask.

Excellent footage on the track! I had a set of MicheLin super sports on my 350 and I think after the stock tires are done I may go with those since I was impressed by how they performed. Does your Heritage happen to have the interior logo badge? I have been looking for other owners that may have acquired it after their purchase. Thx

Midnight purple gleaming in the sunlight on track 🤤
It truly is something special, and the bronze wheels and decals gleam so marvelously.

The Heritage is definitely in my opinion an instant modern classic. I feel the Midnight purple looks better on the Z than the GT-R. Did your car top out at 155? I read they will because of the governor.

Mine topped out at 157 MPH, it just cuts all power and the pedal feels dead. And yes, I think the Z also wears MNP and bayside blue than the R35.

I was wondering if that was your stock setup with the exhaust in the videos. If so that sounds really good, plus you feel having your S mode off was the way to go. I like mine off as well because I can feel what it’s going to do going into the turns better. Is your Heritage showing the gold Heritage Edition logo on the console in front of the stick?

My exhaust setup is the stock auto muffler, stock mid pipe, Z1 350z y pipe, and Lower down pipes non resonated. I really like the sound especially in the 3rd to 4th shift, and in my second clip on the long straight all the way to 5th it sounds amazing. Having S mode off is also very raw feeling, Nissan put an amazing manual in the car it’s super visceral. And yes, in front of the shifter is the gold plaque for the heritage edition.

I thought the Heritage was supposed to have the plaque. Was it in your car upon delivery or did the dealership have to get it separately?

It was in my car on delivery, and the gold plaque is there.
