Picked up car from Audio Installer a few hours ago. All new speakers and JBL Bass Pro Hub and amp installed in spare tire area - the system “ROCKS” total spend $1700

Do you know how they tapped to get the signal for the sub (from a speaker or HU)? I have a sports trim myself.

I'm getting prepped to to the same this weekend. I looked at the BassPro hub, but opted for a single 12" sub that I'll mount in a self-fabricated box. Should get the carpet and terminals tomorrow so I can build it. I'm using the Beats Sonic amp as the interface from the stock head unit to the rear amp that will drive the sub. Can't wait to disassemble 3/4 of the car to get the Beat Sonic amp installed.

I did not, new speakers and JBL Bass with Amp

You say, "All new speakers."

Did you put 2 ohm speakers in the doors? (The system comes with 2 ohm ones in the door. They are IN LINE with the dash speakers that are 4 ohm.) YES, I know that is completely stupid audio-wise.

Did you bother putting in new "rear" speakers?
