2024 Sport Z. Is it just me, or are the rear speaker anemic?

Quick question: My Z has the balance and fade set in the center. I had to shift the balance 75% to the rear to hear anything meaningful from the rear speakers.

Is this par for the course, or so I have some speakers that aren't firing?

The speaker system in a sport has less speakers than the performance. Hence part of the price difference! CarToys is pretty good at putting in a better stereo system. ?

I have the performance model and the stereo is still rubbish.

CarToys dont care about quality workmanship
Every dealer is different. The one in McKinney Texas did a great job on my 370Z. But then again the installer I had could be gone by now. It’s like everything in life. It’s like someone said, Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gunna get” ?

Fixed ?

I respect installers who treat individual installs as their own.

The sound is really good in my Z Performance (Bose), rear speakers aren't very loud but the fronts are loud and super clear. I don't expect a sports car to have a great sound system though, especially considering the shape of the car. I usually don't pump the music anyway since I'm listening to the car and road (and radar ;).

I had to do the same combination for my Z. I don't like the bose radio system.

My performance Z’s Bose Stereo is really good. I stream Tidal through Bluetooth. It’s much better than running it through the stock stereo system

The rear speakers even on the Performance are meh. But I think some of that has to do with location. I wish the speakers were in the hatch area / on top of the rear wheel wells or something instead of right behind the seats in the sides. They get muffled so bad there.

I could be wrong since I dont remember exactly. And this is going by memory. The rear speakers are 3" and some change. I want to say 3.5" or something like that.

In my Sport, I fade it 100% to the fronts.

3.5. they mount to the plastic trim by 4 screws. After market speakers don't sit flush. The 4 pillars need trimmed. I'll post the spreadsheet write adapters when I get home.

I’d say the technical term is "sloppy". I find the slew rate on the speakers to be on the low side.
