Woah interesting. I didn’t know there were companies that actually had the balls to hold the warranty hostage against resellers. That’s kind of awesome.
I wouldn’t be totally against Nissan doing this on a 6-12 month basis as well, with the added clause that the warranty would only fail to transfer if the resale price exceeded the original price.
