To be technically correct, the Z's 9-speed AT is made by JATCO under license from Mercedes. JATCO is largely owned by Nissan and makes a wide variety of transmissions, including their CVT, which is pretty notorious for its limited lifespan.
Ah thanks for correcting me.

What year is your Z? Looking at your dash, I have a Diff Temp gauge where you have an accelerator gauge.
I just noticed that as well. Must be because he has a sport and not a performance. Only thing i can think of

It’s Sport manual. My Sport auto has trans temp there. Pedal position is useless.

I did a dump and fill at 45k on my wife’s 2016 Murano and then changed internal and external filters and another complete fluid change at 90k. The CVT is fine if you simply maintain it and don’t do stupid stuff, like tow with it.

I changed my tranny fluid when I put the factory LSD in my Sport. I have access to a lift, so it's fairly easy.

I think I did it around 7000 miles. Why? I'm anal-retentive, and like to waste money.

PRO TIP: The crush gaskets for the diff cover? Yeah. The tranny uses slightly different ones.

What fluid and tools did you use for the tranny?

I do have a CVT Murano and did flush fill at 40k. Didn't know about the filters part. Is that info in the manual? I didn't git 90k yet I'm way below that btw

If you have Nissan Connect it reads your car and legit tells you what you need to do in certain intervals. Dealerships have tried to tell me other stuff ”needed” replacement and I was like not according to this “readout” on my app right here lolol. Don’t know how old your Murano is but my R53 Pathfinder had the readouts when I reached certain mileage.
