I just got my Z delivered this week and thought of this post when I got it. I thought maybe you wanted to switch from black to gunmetal or something, but were your originals green, too? If so, why do they use green ones? There must be some weird reason for it, right?

Since you are in Texas, check out Brown Nissan of Del Rio. I had a nice conversation with them and they don't sell anything over MSRP. They don't have a Z right now, but you could get on their list and ask them to contact you when they get one. Actually, anyone looking for a fair deal...

That's right down the street from me. FYI, it only costs about $1500 to ship a car from the Northeast to here. It's definitely worth shopping around to find an MSRP dealer and paying the shipping.

I was hoping to get one of them, but the dealer didn't write back. :( I'm pretty close on another one, though, so hopefully I'll have good news soon. :)

That looks amazing. There are tons of white cars where I live, but none of them look like this. They really did something special with that color. Wow.

How much did the first dealer want for the black one? Can you share which dealer you bought the Rosewood one from?

My local dealer just called me a few minutes ago - same story. Weirdly, though, he said it was a different color than the one I had seen (and still is) on the Nissan inventory page that is scheduled to arrive there in the next few days.

I was watching this car, too. I texted the sales guy the day I got the notification of the price drop and he told me the car had been sold that morning. Hopefully it means more cars will become available at fair prices.
