Thanks for the details. Is Covercraft a good brand? Have you seen any pictures of the Nissan cover? I see the item listed, but no pictures, for some reason.
I'm looking for advice on car covers. My Z will live in an underground parking garage, but near the entrance to the garage so it will get dusty pretty quickly. I won't be driving it every day, so I'm thinking it might make sense to get a cover for it.
What do you all think? If you were to...
That's a good idea. I just now realized that maybe Costco sells them in two-packs so that you could put on each side of the car and not just because they give you multiples of everything. D'oh!
Everyone here will be excited for you. :)
BTW, I had mine shipped to me, too. Ask your dealer to set up your digital account before they send it and you'll be able to track it on the app with GPS as it makes its way to you. It's pretty wild.
Congratulations! Good job being patient, too. That's awesome.
The black/white contrast is just so sharp. I love it, especially in the angle on the first picture.
Is it safe to use dusters? I used to use a California duster on my 350Z, but am not sure if I should continue to use it on my new Z. I get very little rain here, but it can get dusty pretty quickly.
What about this microfiber duster from ArmorAll? Any better or worse...
I've been watching some Home Improvement repeats lately and I thought the color on one of the rebuilds they did was stunning. Reminded me of the Rosewood. :)
It cost me about $1500 to ship a car from the Northeast to the Southwest. Naturally, the dealer I found who was selling at MSRP was almost as far from me as geographically possible, but since minimum markups are/were $5,000, I figured I saved $3,500. If you ship it to your house, you'll have...
Are the Ariyas really hard to find, too? I remember looking at tons of dealer sites when I was looking for a Z and seem to remember there being a lot of Ariyas available in Texas.
The tool actually fits very well in the driver's side door pocket. There was about an inch of extra space, so I put my little umbrella in there to try to keep them both secure. :)
I also rearranged the other stuff in the car. I put the first aid kit behind the driver's seat and put my jump...
Your note about cooled seats is important. It's supposed to get to 118 degrees where I live today and my power went out this morning. It's nice to know I have a new car with a functioning air conditioner in it that I could pile the pets in and go for a drive to cool everyone off. Dealers...
I will see if it fits in the side door pocket. In my 350, I had it lying between the emergency brake and the center console, but that's not the greatest spot.
