Put some yellow ones on it!
On a black car, they might be one of those things only you notice. They do add to the profile on the back, especially from straight on.
1st "mod" to a car I said I was gonna keep all stock lol
The install wasn't bad once I figured out my plan of attack; the install website isn't working and the templates weren't as accurate as I think they should be so I tossed them out.
I love the fronts and I really "like" the rears, I think...
Ya know, that's my thoughts exactly. I told my wife I was looking for a "driver's car," something more analog. The Z isn't exactly analog, I know...but it's much simpler and straight forward than the Mustang. I'm scared to turn the TC off until I get used to the powerband, which might be a...
Thanks man!
Those are cool, although a bit pricey. I didn't even know those existed. I was able to get a set of factory lugs today though. I didn't feel comfortable driving the car anywhere once I realized the wrong lug nuts were on it.
Ok, thanks for posting that. I didn't realize the single overdrive vs the double overdrive on the Mustang but I figured gearing was probably part of the equation, plus the power band being different like you say with the NA vs turbo torque. It was just real surprising to me and the automatic Z...
Now THAT is a good looking car! I like the black lugs, I'm gonna have to do that.
You'll have to update when you do the springs, I'm considering that as well. I think it's gonna look sick!
Ahhh, I remember seeing those now. I've looked at so many things for this car this week, I can't keep it all straight lol! Thanks for the link! Any pics on the car?
Thanks! I just went out to the car and tried it and the tach stayed at 0 so I guess there's not a tune. I've had 3 S550 Mustangs with manual trans, the one I traded for the Z was a Mach 1 with the Tremec. The Z feels like it pulls harder. It's making (by my guess from what I've read online)...
Well I went out to the garage and pulled one of the lug nuts, it's definitely the wrong type. So I have to see if the dealer has a set in stock I can grab tomorrow. Thanks for the heads-up!
Thanks for the info! I'll dig into it and see if I can find anything. The thread engagement seemed shallow but I assumed since they're factory wheels and Nissan lugs, that they were correct...hmmm....
Hello all, thanks for the ad!
Getting used to the new Z, been in the Mustang S550 chassis for the last 7 years. I picked it up this week on Monday.
Got some questions for y'all. Any thoughts/input appreciated.
My dealer had to get this car from another dealer. First thing I noticed was the...
