Bump it up on a question with the Performance calipers on a Sport trim. Was it a direct bolt on? Other than needing 14" calipers, was there anything else needed to do the conversion?

I tried that and I didnt notice any difference in coolant temp from not having AC on.
What are you seeing? Im seeing a fluctuation of 179-190 with or without AC
To keep the toe in spec, which eats tires fast. The factory camber can only be adjusted so much without it affecting the toe adjustment. Toe will effect Camber, and Camber will effect Toe
If you dont want camber wear. Save money from going to a different shop and purchase aftermarket adjustable...
TBH, HD stations sucks IMO. Its not always available, cuts in an out when driving due to poor signal in certain areas. If its equipped, I turn it off every chance I get. That being said, my '24 Sport Trim does not have HD option. Or its there and I ignore it 😅
When you run your AC or Heater, and the temp needle goes down, that's a sign you have air in the system. Check your reservoir and see if youre losing coolant. Fill as needed as this could be a sign that there is air slowly releasing. If I had to guess, the intercoolers, which is the highest...
Cant get rid of the code without a tune. You can still use ECUTEK to help push a little more power out of a stock car. A tune is worth it if youre stock or just having an intake
Thanks @5amp5on I'll keep an eye on the clutch and see how she acts in the next 10k miles. Im at 17k now.
@KrackaC8 do you recommend ATE Type200 fluid for brakes on a daily driver? I have that ATE Type200 fluid sitting in my cabinet for the past 6 yrs. Guess its time to crack it open and use it 😅
I havent done anything to the Z since my last posting. Here is a story that I am not proud of.
Not my brightest moment owning the Z this week. My temper got the best of me on Wednesday. I overloaded my clutch for a couple seconds in 5th, then at 7k rpms, shifted to 6th and it had no power to...
I saw that and they definitely went over the 3% rule.
I have followed the 3% rule since 2000, when TC and VSC was introduced. People were having issues with shorter tires on the front and taller in the rear.
Did some research a while ago. Between the 3 trims and all the stock tire sizes, they...
Thats the perfect ratio if you want to go staggered tires. Pic from this site shows the tire sizes closely match each other. I spend way to much time on this site lol https://www.willtheyfit.com/
The wheel width are not staggered tho. Fronts 18x9+34. Rears 18x9+15.
I went back to the 90s oil change interval at every 3k miles using 5w30 and the Nissan GTR oil filter. I been pondering to go with 10w40 this summer and switch 5w30 for winter
Did you do this? Do you have a pic where you ziptied it? How was the install on the plate from under the car? Getting the harness unplugged was a pain but doable. For now, I plugged it back in.
From the research I read. If you change your oil every 3-5k miles, you should be ok with it still plugged in.
Its a fail point that the computer wont tell that its a problem when it goes bad. The flap can gunk up (or fail over time), and the solenoid will stay closed, which causes oil...
I dont ask dealers about it anything. They would say, follow the owners manual. I will be modifying and tuning my Z. Warranty is going to be non existence
