I got the transmission I wanted. In the Z, the automatic is MUCH faster than the manual. And it makes for a better DD at my age.

I had zero problems with my C8 and Supra. So far, so good with the Z.

I like the interior.

I enjoyed the review. The gentleman seems very knowledgeable. He is correct that there is a lot packed into the engine bay. With no warranty, repairs will get expensive due to labor costs. So far, I love my Z performance.

Do you have any specific examples of one of these Z motors "exploding" when pushed over 550? Where does this claim come from? Do you know about forced induction? What forged internals means? Examples? I do not need examples when I know that a non-forged engine will explode eventually at...

The manuals have the carbon fiber driveshaft, not the auto. Good review. Mostly accurate.

550HP is about all the stock engines can take before exploding. The B58 in the Supra in fully forged, hence the big numbers people are getting with modifications.

Some more observations. I could always feel the electronic LSD working in the Supra when pushed. I much more prefer the mechanical unit in the Z. As far as the automatic transmission, the ZF in the Supra was good. But by no means is the 9 speeds in the Z inferior. I actually prefer the extra...

Finally got some seat time today. Car has super linear power. No way my former 22 Supra was faster. This car feels faster than my Supra. Not as precise around curves, but is much more comfortable. No claustrophobic feeling while driving. Z handles great. Just the right balance of good ride...

The Z is plenty fast. On par with my previous. 21 Supra. Not as fast as my C8. And damn close to my C7.
