I have never had a point with my stock tires that they have really scared me in the wet. My first 3 months of ownership was a lot of rain and even a few small water crossings.
I run my tire pressures at door jam recommended numbers (when warm) and really haven't had an issue. It was even...
The tires....they are surprisingly sketchy considering the price point and size. Mine are now at 15,000 km and definitely not as good as they started.
I have zero issues in the wet compared to other less powerful cars I've owned for normal or faster than NPC traffic speeds, but once you put it...
I can't believe I'm asking this.... I figured it would be easy to find out.
what size are the Lowered Z1 spacer kits?, are they different front to rear?
I want to buy some locally (as I don't want to pay exchange rate and postage from the US) and wanted to go with the tried and tested formula...
I have only turned off the fake exhaust, because I wanted to see the difference. Haven't tried turning off the Noise cancelling yet. But the active exhaust made a big difference. maybe that's the difference? Even at it's worst, it's far from offensive compared to any older sporty car or sports...
I too have the MBRP system, it is quiet once you're into it. Have you turned off the active noise cancelling and fake exhaust noises?
Once the dump pipes are there it will be a different animal. I'm glad it's quietish with the stock dumps.
For those In Australia looking for a complete kit, and can't find the wheel cheaply and easily locally. This is an option, comes with everything you need (and stuff you don't), and is currently on sale.
Braumach Spare kit
I had a boot rattle for about the first 3-4 months. It went away on it's own :unsure:
Aussie spec suspension is no doubt the same. the back is pretty "fun" to deal with. I'm not complaining, but it's definitely softer than it could be. I've had mine on a track recently and seeing a picture...
no clearance issues at all, nothing sits lower than the middle section, it is just an optical illusion. That may change once i lower it, but i think it will be fine.
yes there is drone, down low under labour.
it's less boomy drone, and more resonance (I'm no sound guy... just trying to be...
Take into account wider rears will create more understeer too though. I was really surprised how much it had once you throw it at a race track.
Despite the tail happy feel of the stock Z it is actually the opposite to what i assumed
And yet in the first few weeks of ownership, I came out of Bunnings to find an Emira parked next to me. We had a good chat, compared busted windscreens and carried on with our day. Both are a rare site indeed.
keen to see how you go with the 9" screen.
Here in AUS we only got the 8" too, but I assume it has more to do with the nissan connect functions etc than anything else
I went the MBRP like the one MattJ2020 shared a video.
Well built, easy install and great value. It's a good thick walled system, and sounds great. I've had mine on for about 3000 miles now and love it.
But I did get the active Noise nonsense turned off by my dealer as I feel like it was trying...
Gday! I've seen one other in the wild (other than coffee and car meetup style things)
The bronze on yellow shouldn't work, but it works so well. I'm glad I found a lost Proto to buy
