Sport(Base) or Performance Trim
See here for all info on each trim. Important to note, however, that Sport has 18" wheels and regular 2-piston brake calipers, Performance has 19" wheels and 4-piston brake calipers. Also, according to the official spec sheet, it appears that if you choose the...
Only thing I'm kinda disappointed about is you there are only 3 monotone color options as I'm still on the fence whether or not I like the two tone or monotone better. Wish you could choose any color to be monotone and any color to be two tone.
Well this right here is the predicament. If the interior of the production turns out to be exactly like what we saw with the Proto, that's hardly what I'd call materials of higher quality. Over half of the interior is carried over from the 370Z, besides the digital dash, digital infotainment...
Before I bought my 370Z a couple years ago I tried watching his videos and I could barely make it through them. I think I'm only a few years older than him and I can't put up with his "humor".
Hopefully the lighting is much better to really show off the colors and curves of the car! Also hoping that they have more than 1 reveal car; 2 or 3 would be great.
I'm going to assume some of these get answered during the reveal but incase not:
1. What is the 0-60 MPH time?
2. Is the silver 'katana' an option we can opt out of?
3. Is the carbon fiber from the Proto making it to production?
4. Will we have the option to choose from multiple caliper...
Not sure where you heard that, but no one legitimately knows anything about what trim either of those leaked cars may or may not have been. They were completely identical inside and out, besides the exterior/seat colors and one being automatic vs one being manual. There was nothing to...
It says at the bottom "pre-production model shown" aka it's just the Proto. I doubt the gtr calipers are making it to the production version considering the 2 leaked cars both had akebonos.
Good quality PPF that is installed correctly should not change the appearance of paint whatsoever.
Yup you absolutely can. I would ceramic coat the wheels as well to make it super easy to clean.
I spoke to my Nissan dealer a couple weeks ago and they said they had no idea. Everything is hearsay right now considering there is a production/chip shortage. If I were to guess I'd say Spring 2022 at best realistically. I highly, highly doubt it'll get here before that.
I know it's been brought up awhile ago that the rumor is the new Z will be using the 9G-tronic auto trans from Mercedes. I was quite skeptical of this rumor for a few reasons:
1. It is leaked "inside info" that came from someone on the internet
2. Nissan hasn't confirmed or hinted at it
3. It...
I'm sure it will be. If anything they'll probably just do what they did for the Proto reveal and have no in-person audience. Hopefully this time around the production is much better though. The camera angles, lighting, and each overall segment of the Proto reveal did not do the car justice at all.
This. This. This. If they put a starting price above $40k they're smoking crack.
The ONLY way I see them justifying a starting price above $40k is if the car has 450+ HP.
I highly doubt the new Z will exceed a $48k price tag(not including the Nismo), even fully optioned. Yes the car is a "new" model, but in reality probably 70% of the car is a 370Z. Pretty much all of the "new" parts are from current Nissan models with the exception of the engine being from the...
