Work has been slow most of the 6 months, which is a good thing, so I typically drive somewhere I haven’t seen most days. Also some 8-hr round trips to see my parents in assisted living.
Cars are meant to be driven. You can die tomorrow and the precious car in the garage that was never driven is...
I don’t think the Nissan 9AT does the downshift thunk less over time. I think we get used to it. I don’t notice and don’t care anymore. It’s a great transmission and cars with character do these kinds of things. All of them have quirks or it’s just another Camry or some other POS boring car.
When I’m able to deduce which asshole sold my info I make their life hell with bad reviews. You’d be surprised how many people avoid a business when the reviews say they shamelessly sell your information to predators.
Yeah I had a 2015 GT manual with every option. It was unbelievable how bad the quality was. Traded with 6,500 miles. Then owned a 2017 5.0 F150 with a loose wrist pin bottom end knock, a really bad one, and Ford repeatedly called it normal. Have not and will not ever own another Ford as long as...
If you’re talking tires that came on the car, that tire would be different than the one you buy at a tire store. There are a few Michelins that are the same, but typically the tire manufacturer has a special tire for the cars coming out of the plant.
That’s odd to me. While waiting for service this week I sat in a Frontier in the new lime yellow color and loved it. Also sat in a Murano Platinum. Loved it. The dealer had a Kicks with Nismo rims, off-road tires, cargo rack on top. Sat in it. Loved it.
I must be an outlier. I think Nissan’s...
Exactly. I’m stubborn and still drive my RWD sports cars to the grocery in a blizzard with PS4 A/S. I just enjoy it for whatever reason. I don’t recommend it to others. Ice or snow in the Z is challenging. I’d use the CC geared more for snow if I didn’t like the risk compromise.
It’s not the money for me. I don’t have time for my life revolving around dealer repairs. Every time I visit one it costs me thousands in lost pay. On top of driving around pissed off trying to decide when to go so that I lose the least amount of money from income. If BMW wants to drop off a car...
