When a Nissan sales person still calling it a 400Z.. tells me this sales person has very little knowledge about the new Z and to rethink of doing any business with them. Hope you didnt leave any deposit down.
My guess the Z will launch before the end of spring at least here in Canada. Not...
I might be in the minority.. but the looks just don't do it for me.. I was hoping for a better styling front and that exhaust setup looks worst than the current Civic Type R 3 exhaust set up. It does look better proportioned than the Yaris though.. I'll give it that and I do appreciate Toyota...
I've been using CarPro CQuartz 3.0 ceramic on friends and my personal vehicles. I haven't used or heard of Cilajet ceramic but I personally stay away from whatever car dealers have to offer in terms of car protection. If you really want the best protection invest on PPF.
From what I've seen, those properly using a harness have been mounting theirs on a separate harness bar or a welded steel cage. I haven't seen anyone replace the stock cross bar with a specific harness bar or know of a company that makes a direct replacement.
6 speed manual, 400hp, overall beautiful exterior styling.. I could care less about not having dual climate zones, prop rods.. or even that it is still using the same key fob from my old 09 370Z.
I'm not sure.. but from the video the infotainment screen in the Proto looks like an 8 inch? Not sure if its been clarified if the Canadian Z will be getting a 9 inch screen?
Considering this Z may be the last manual, gas powered and unless the new Nismo absolutely blows me away.. I'll probably hold on to this car a lot longer. But besides all of that, I always financed my cars.
Haven't really checked out the back seat of the BRZ.. but considering the BRZ has a back seat and a trunk.. it should have more space than the 370Z. The rear space between seats and trunk in the Z is somewhat useful for a bit of added space. I was able to pack a 6 person insta tent, a medium...
When I was searching for my 370Z.. I had two dealerships ask me for a deposit first before they would allow a test drive. The 370Z did just came out but still.. Anyways I said sayonara to that dealership.
with that said.. the substantial bump in HP, torque, slight refinement on the chassis and a faster Automatic should put it closer to the Supra. I still expect the new Z to be a tad slower on the track compared to the Supra, but I'm absolutely will be fine with that.
No, I highly doubt it either.. I don't expect any discount the first year.. heck I'll be happy if they toss in a free hat. The only thing worries me is what will the interest rate be.. hopefully nothing crazy.
Never had an issue with trunk space when I had my 370Z.. of course I never bought the car for its practicality.. but I was able to pack 4 days of camping gear +1 with no issues.
I was hoping slightly above 4500lbs curb weight. Despite it being heavy it wont sway me from buying the new Z. I'm not here to set lap records.. I love the styling and I'm a manual purist so as long as the new Z feels well composed and balanced.. being heavier wont bother me at all.
Good dealerships are hard to come by. I live in the Toronto area back in 2009 I went through almost a dozen Nissan dealerships when I was buying my 370Z.. I've dealt with anything from sales trying to push me into a different car to adding bogus dealer costs. I eventually just started sending...
