Whatever they have right now for the Q50/60 are probably what they are working on and will offer first for the Z.. it will sound, look and yield similar results. They are most likely just test fitting to see things fit properly
I'll be doing all the install my self or have a friend that can help me out.. minus tints, PPF front bumper, tuning, alignment and mounting tires. Most of these standard mods can be done by your average DIY.
I think some are forgetting most of us here are not going to go full send and buy...
Almost forgot about that.. absolutely PPF and ceramic coating will be the the very first and most important thing I do as soon as it leaves the dealership. If this new Z has paint anything like my old 370Z.. it easily gets swirl marks and stone chips. Hopefully Nissan paint has better quality...
Still contemplating.. but I think at my age I still want to mod my car
Z + performance trim.. hopefully 20K will be enough to cover all of this?
First year
Tints 32% all around
KW full coil overs,
sway kit,
SPL front and rear camber kit
spacers till I buy actual rims
Second year
WORK, SSR...
401 Dixie.. I hate that dealer. Back in 09 I went to that dealer in search for a new 370Z. The first sales guy walks up to me and asks.. you sure you can handle this car.. I was like WTF do you know? So I moved on and found a second sales man and asked him for pricing. He said its pretty...
You don't have to stick with the same dealership you bought your car from for service. It is a good idea to stay constant with the same dealer for service rather than going to 3 separate dealerships for service. This avoids the they worked on it last.. so they messed it up last. But as much...
Yah, the Supra is more expensive than the Z(about 10K) but don't forget you also get more tech and features that you don't get in the Z Performance Trim. Styling aside.. both cars handle really well and going of by early comparison reviews the Supra seems more track focus while the Z is a...
I'm pretty confident at some point we will get a Nismo version. But when that will be.. who knows? Hoping to see a production Nismo test mules to start popping up by mid to late next year? I don't know how long the Z will be in production, but seeing how long the 370Z lasted.. I would easily...
If I decide to purchase the Z.. its Performance trim or nothing. But maybe by the time I do decide on a Z, rumors of the Nismo Z might be coming out so..?
True.. the earlier the better. But at least here in Toronto it often doesn't start to snow until late Dec if any. As for me.. not in a real rush to get the Z.. waiting on the Supra manual before I decide.
Looks are subjective.. to me the Z styling is 9/10 while the Supra is a 7/10.. so not such a big deal to me styling wise like it is to others. As for the Camaro.. I'd rather take a Mustang if I had to pick a domestic car. I driven a 16 Camaro and it just looks and feels too big to toss around...
I know how you feel.. earlier this year I was 100% on board with the new Z, mostly because the Supra had no manual. Now I'm one foot out.. but still hoping once I get to experience the new Z I'll be all in again.
Its a good video.. makes you appreciate the passion that went into the new Z. The Z right now is still my top choice.. love the no BS styling and overall visual of the Z. Hope when I get a chance to see the new Z in person and test drive.. it will be enough for me to forget the little things...
Performance is not the issue with me.. that will be determined by a test drive. Right now for me at least, the only thing the Z has over its competitors is its styling. The price is not much an issue with me, I just wish it had more of the little things its competitors has to offer. The Supra...
For me its not so much the cost that is hard to swallow.. its that for the price, the Z doesn't have much to offer compared to its competitors. Maybe once I fully experience the Z.. it will change my mind? As for now definitely holding off till pricing for the Supra manual is released.
