I cannot state my frustrations with Nissan and how they do not allow VDC to be entirely turned off on Nissan Z Nismo, that’s sold as a Track Toy! Nothing like having lap-times ruined and brakes cooked at the track, very safe no doubts!
We should all with no doubts put pressure on Nissan to fix...
Australian Nismo version passenger and drivers seats are exactly the same, unlike the US version the cushion on the passenger side is shorter so it uses the same shorter cushion as the performance models.
In Australia it's the proper Nismo cushion.
So when in Sport+ mode and the oils temps are up and the shifts are fast and aggressive were welcomed by these nice burble/bang, part of me suspects that these are fake, same as the fake stupid exhaust downshift pops.
Does anyone know in the Nismo if it's speaker induced? It sure sounds legit...
Well I went for a drive down Kiama between Canberra and Sydney this Sunday, temps where at 2-4C frost was visible so much roads looked icy, at some stage and I decided to floor it going straight in 3rd already doing 60km/h to see how much grip I had and yes the rear was not happy. I simply...
Isn't this the reason why these were recalled? Seems a little stupid to me that your hood could pop up especially on the Nismo variants, as we all know we will be hitting ripple strips hard and even have off tracks on a car that's been commercialized as a track/street toy....
Surely they won't...
There is one Z Proto getting a new engine, so issue seems to be carried on? Even though AMS have mentioned the heads are a different part in the Z.
@brandon_buildsDIY
Did Nissan ever update this? Does a 2024 still when the same head as a 2016?
AMS Performance
@AMSPerformance
Actually, yes...
So if you want to disable everything you still need to press that switch behind the brake pedal or not anymore?
Also when it says Traction is has some slip and without Traction it’s full slip and skills?
Heads up to Nismo owners with the flow bracket you could potential expose some minor pressure marks caused by the gigantic factory plate holder, might be caused by being on too tight. I have some on the nose and the black "bumper" trim. Bracket is great and makes justice to the Nismo front end.
My Renault Clio RS200, Renault Megane RS265, GR Yaris all had a Headlight levelling dial, maybe it's illegal in the states? Majority of the cars here in Australia and Europe have them.
I'm super stoked and grateful to get into a Nissan Z Nismo it's for me a dream come true, but this is the first car I have ever had that doesn't have lights that go up or down with a swich. Is this a common thing on pure sports cars or just Nissan cutting costs?
Very nice mate, I just got mine delivered last week same colour so we have another Slate Grey Z Nismo in Sydney, can't wait to catchup and hear that exhaust, enjoy mate!
