1st oil change, 1,480 miles. Added Z1 magnetic oil drain bolt. Mobile1 filter. Z1 under shroud service panel is the best thing ever and the race ramps are nice and wide and make being under the vehicle worry free. Whoever Nissan tasked with tightening the oil filter really enjoys his job...
They are making too many of this car for the market demographic. It's not that the car is "unpopular", it's just out of the price range of a "toy" car for most people.
This car is the most impractical car that my family could have purchased. But we are in a position where we can blow $50+k...
Installed the Z1 carbon fiber engine cover and radiator air guide. As usual everything was packaged carefully and shipped immediately. Even my wife likes it which is saying a lot because she prefers stock on vehicles.
I got up to 120, let off to clear the road to 112, then punched it and it climbed up to 130 quick then I chickened out and backed off.
I cannot imagine hitting 150. Although it felt like 130 was no issue for the car, smooth as can be.
Yes all our vehicles have memberships with Tommy's and we've never had any issues with their wash equipment on our cars finishes. Plus you can wash at any Tommy's and we love to roadtrip so no matter where we are we can get a great wash.
It's because of .gov fuel standard requirements. The same type of regulations that put auto start/stop nonsense in cars. It allows the automaker to say the car gets over fuel efficiency requirements. Us users can override these things though...
6'3" 230lbs and car is very comfy for me no issues. Longest drive so far was about 3 hours felt better getting out than I do after 3 hours in the explorer.
I have no complaints about this car, it's great especially as a fun/overnight date trip car.
I don't think I would enjoy it as a daily...
My dealer did not push the shipping fuse in far enough so at about 60 miles my car went into shipping mode. Fortunately I had read my manual and kind of knew what it was. I got the dealer on the phone and they told me to shove it in really hard and that fixed it. It had come out about...
When it finally worked again was it in limp mode or did all seem "normal"?
If it was normal I bet service will not be able to replicate the issue. Weird one for sure.
Ordered the "modern spare" spare tire and jack kit for my 24 Performance.
M speed rated tire on a 19" aluminum wheel.
I took out the passenger side styrofoam so that I could fit the jack, tools and still fit the pump and fix a flat that came with the car making a roadside repair of two tires...

I was always a Chevy guy my first sports car was a 1974 Firebird. Then 1986 IROC. Then a 1998 Z28.
I always wanted a 300 ZX twin turbo since one of my buddies 1986 beat my IROC in a roll race, but I never got one. My wife of 28 years always wanted a 1990's era 300 ZX TT.
I took my...
Dunno man, I just ran into it in the manual and thought it would make a good forum question on how people are using these cars in real life.
I always read owners manuals on anything I buy cover to cover, I'm weird like that.
