  1. Jerky Acceleration Under Load?! 27,000 Miles?! Fuel Starvation?

I've dealt with that before with my previous '16 Jeep Cherokee. Lifting around the time it wanted to shift made it freak out and shift hard. I thought about this on the Z, but as shown in the video, the jerkiness happened at almost full throttle. This is further supported when I was...
  2. Dashboard warning lights normal or acting up

I forgot that I had recorded this happening. Enjoy the soft jazz from Gran Turismo 5 lol.
  3. 9AT jerks forward when stopping?

I thought I would post this Jerky Acceleration post here, because PsiloZ mention having the low pressure fuel pump checked. Not sure if this is the reason, but why not. https://www.nissanzclub.com/forum/threads/jerky-acceleration-under-load-9-speed-at-stock-4-months-18-750-miles.2216/
  4. Jerky Acceleration Under Load?! 27,000 Miles?! Fuel Starvation?

Example of the problem: My 4-month old New Z at 18,750 miles has a weird jerking issue sometimes at high acceleration. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The first time it happened, I thought it was fuel starvation because I was at the top of the red marker on the gas meter. This time...
  5. Dashboard warning lights normal or acting up

I thought I was going crazy for a while lol. I've gotten used to it though. This happens to me now that it's getting colder. Cold start at 5AM, let it run for like 3 minutes for oil, then take off, keeping RPM's not much above 3000. If it's wet and mostly when cold, I get the "Collision...
  6. DoorDash Driver Buys Black Nissan Z Perf. - My Fair Daily Z!

Yes. Just the Parking Lights are on.
  7. 9AT jerks forward when stopping?

My door sticker says December 2022. Not sure if this is before or after the auto parking situation fix.
  8. 9AT jerks forward when stopping?

I get the transmission thump when I slow roll to a stop over a long distance. What's strange is that it doesn't do it when I use adaptive cruise control behind someone who slow rolls to a stop. I do get a thump if I pull up somewhere and then immediately put it in Park. My theory is that...

I've been dealing with bad tire wear on these Bridgestone Potenza S007's. You guys can follow that thread here: https://www.nissanzclub.com/forum/threads/bridgestone-potenza-s007s-worn-through-at-14-000-miles.2137/ My latest post there: Apparently I am more new to Summer tires (and all tires...
  10. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

Apparently I am more new to Summer tires (and all tires in general) than I thought. I didn't know that summer tires can make your car wander in the lane when the tread gets low. My front treads on the Potenza's are at 4/32 out of 8/32 and the car was wandering over the tire grooves in the...
  11. DoorDash Driver Buys Black Nissan Z Perf. - My Fair Daily Z!

Actually I don't think that lights up. If it does, that's new to me. I'll have to look at it. I think it's just a reflector.
  12. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

I went with Priority Tires. They seem pretty good, and they will also drop ship. Good deals too. For me in Michigan, it did take a week for FedEx to deliver, but that's alright. At least now I know that I can only fit one tire in the trunk and one in the passenger seat. Bummer, but that's...
  13. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

You can call me a Boomer, but Bridgestone is going on my list of No-No brands with Firestone. Ever since Firestone's deadly 90's era, I won't be buying them either. I mean unless they make another brand and I just don't know it.
  14. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

If I were to go aftermarket with camber parts, and go less aggressive, would it slide out more? I have to see how this thing is on All-Seasons. Hurry up FedEx! The service guy was like "the car has negative camber because it's a sports car. It's actually not a lot of camber. The tires are a...
  15. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

??‍♂️ So, the service guy said "this would be covered by warranty, EXCEPT... the tire does not have a milage warranty. And no factory covers car manufacturer's tires.". And then tried to sell me the same tires at $469.60 a pop. HA! I say NAY!
  16. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

?? How many miles do you have on your Z? It might seem like lead foot. I could see it if this was after 5,000 miles. But 14-15,000 miles is downright V6 Accord territory for a rear wheel drive sports car. I still would expect even wear, even if I were a lead foot. There's still tread on...
  17. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

Also, the manual clearly states that I SHOULD NOT do a wheel rotation because it's a staggered setup. The dealer guy, the guy who SOLD me the car, didn't even know that when I told him about the problem. I'll show them this if they bring it up.
  18. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

This is my tire wear so far. It's down to the "support wiring"? This is also what my camber looks like. Not sure what to think of it... I'm going to take it to the dealer and see if this falls under warranty. I have a 5 year warranty that they "sold" (tacked on) to me, so we'll see.
  19. Bridgestone Potenza S007's - Worn through at 14,000 Miles!

Yes, it's at factory ride height. I haven't had time to do anything aftermarket yet. What you see is straight from the dealership. And there's nothing but a bag with all the delivery accessories in it (dealer plate surround, aero flaps, front lip spoiler, etc). So no extra weight.
