I think this is true. The Nissan Z is a good way to reconnect with the 80ās & 90ās Zās from back in the day.
The MKV lets me have a Supra I can afford with great styling and performance on par with the MKIV. It lives up to the name but with an Austrian drivetrain.

These 2 cars shouldnāt be compared. Different price points and different driver experience. If Toyota wasnāt developing a next gen Celica. I would have picked up a Nissan Z.

I know the Supra had a problem with oil pump failing due to plastic internals.
Has the Z had any similar problems after a few years of ownership?

100% this, the big car manufacturers will plan to weather this 4 year storm. They will save more money by shutting us off vs building a new plant.

I havenāt had any luck with extended warranties. Also donāt know of a single soul that has used one that was worth more than they paid for the coverage.
