I have agonized for years on what the best "fun" car for me might be. Over those years, so many things have changed in both the car market and in my life that my wife makes fun of me... "you'll have a new bright idea tomorrow."
I have to say, a recent reveal made me more sure of what's going...
Can you tell him to make the cool bumpers and other Frontier stuff they did for the Titan? If I didn't get boned on my taxes this year I would already have the Nismo catback for my P4X. haha
(I get the Titan is far less of an aftermarket value proposition than the Frontier, but a dude can ask...
Don't know how you manage to live like this. Sheesh.
Mad props. Stellar song choice. I can't tell you how many summer nights I spent with windows down and this blaring. First Nissan I blew this out of was my 04 Sentra SE-R Spec V.
Pricing makes or breaks this car. If I can get one for less than $50k, this is what I'm going with.
I have heard nothing but absolutely stellar things about the Civic Type R, but this Acura takes the things about the CTR I love (power, driving dynamic, manual transmission, Honda reliability)...
I understand you're frustrated. But bro. Really. We're splitting hairs on wiper blades? None of them last longer than six months - I don't care where they come from.
I also live in the south.
Nissan is transitioning to the blind spot lights going on the mirrors. My Titan's are that way as well as the wife's 23 QX60. Her 2020 QX80 had them inside.
On one hand, it makes sense because you should be checking your side mirror, and you should see an alert where you're looking. I see...
I can definitely see how all the cameras and tech has freed up designers to experiment with design because they no longer need to design with the attributes in mind that make the example of your old Acura such a nice vehicle to live with.
What makes this worse is the next gen of designers...
It depends on the camera implementation. The rear monitor on my wife's 2023 QX60 offers significant coverage of the rear. You basically have no gaps between side mirrors and that rear monitor if you have your side mirrors positioned correctly.
Many people make their own "blind spots" worse by...
That's a safe yes. But a larger screen to view it with.
I plugged in my old VCR to my 4K LG OLED TV and watched Beetlejuice to properly prepare myself for the experience.
This is truly embarrassing for Nissan after all the other press they've been getting around this car.
If I were them, I'd have a replacement car out there ASAP to at least get them to test it. They broke it and it sat out the entirety of the rest of the comparison.
What a disastrous launch...
Man... I get where you're coming from with all this and I'm not going to fight you on it, but this is a completely silly statement. There's no way you're buying an equivalent Tundra for $10k less than a Titan.
I am in a 2020 Titan right now because I got a smoking deal on one. A 2023 (the...
