The 370 has the same fuel cutoff problem. It's due to the "saddle bag" gas tank design. It's only apparent on high-speed sweeping right turns. I've never noticed the issue in my 370 flying through mountain passes, such as Sitgreaves Pass on Old US 66 in Arizona. Z1 Motorsports sells a kit for...
I replaced the chrome headlights on my 2017 Z with the newer black headlights for $1,514 ($757.25 each) from Ziegler Nissan Orland Park Parts. Installed them myself. Ziegler has pretty good pricing on OEM parts.
Ford should be embarrassed. Z has 80 less HP and terrible stock tires, yet beat the Mach 1 "muscle car" 0-60, 0-100, and top gear on a roll 30-50 and 50-70, all for less $$$$. The Z is the true muscle car in this comparison. Car & Driver can eat a bag of Richards.
I run Conti ExtremeContact Sport tires (275/35R19 front, 295/35R19 rear) on the 5-spoke Nismo wheels and easily get 20,000 miles on them with pretty hard driving in hot Florida weather, and Florida often has high-friction pavements due to the frequent rains. You won't have to change the tires...
"Seismic shift"- these guys need a dose of reality. Just put a set of 19" Nismo wheels on the Z, which is what I did on my 370 (I'm running 275's up front and 295's on the rear) along with a set of HKS coilovers. Sheesh. The Z is a GT car from the factory. Car and Driver has always been a BMW homer.
$3100 total to get the open diff on a base 370 changed to a bulletproof Wavetrac diff.
Included replacing the OEM axle flanges, side bearings and seals which has to be done to do it right.. Plus Z1 urethane diff bushings are a must.
Then go buy a Supra!
Savagegeese: The Z is the better driver's car.
To make the Z truly track capable, it would need coilovers and wider wheels. From the factory the Performance Z is a GT car and great daily driver. My 370 has HKS coilovers, Voodoo 13 adjustable arms everywhere, Whiteline...
Cost me $85.80 to fill up my 370 with Costco Premium here in FL just north of Tampa ($5.15/gal). To prospective Z buyers, welcome to the premium gas required club! :)
Redline Reviews doesn't know how to drive. He is the go-to when you need to know if the glovebox is lined with felt or not.

Same goes for gasoline. Why work your ass off producing so much of a product when you can produce less, and make more money charging more? The days of cheap cars and cheap gas are gone forever.
Nobody has commented on how this white one has stripes not only on the back of the hatch, but also on the roof and the hood. I'm not a fan of stripes at all, but the light gray stripes on the white looks really good- nice and subtle since the stripe color is not overwhelming, if the stripes were...
