FYI, CZP under shroud does not fit the Nismo.

I run the 61 mm Nismo Sports Long Hub Bolts with no spacers, only offset, just because I like the look and the added security of 100% thread engagement.

I didn't realize how much dust the OE brakes produced until I made the swap. What a difference!

So how did your rotor installation go and how are you liking them?

I just received mine:

I added a Modern Spare to my Z and can now definitively state that the subwoofer sounds an order of magnitude better mounted inside a spare than it did surrounded by foam. I also did mount the spare wheel on top of a sound deadening pad for additional insulation from unwanted noise.

My Z is not lowered but my 370Z was and my wheels and tire setup works on both. Lowering doesn’t allow you to use wider wheels, it’s offset and camber. The wheel will travel the same path when the shocks are compressed regardless of ride height. My rears are +18.

My current wheel and tire setup came right off my lowered 370Z Nismo and there was no rubbing at all (1.5” drop). Proper offsets and good alignment are key. The wider tires also have the benefit of added grip which I always felt the platform could use more of even back on the Z34. As mentioned...

Does the Modern Spare use standard Nissan shank lug nuts? Does the spare change the way the subwoofer sounds?

For your reference, this is 315/30R19 on an 11” wide wheel:

Not as much, both tire sizes are ideally suited for 11” wide wheels.

Your sidewalls will bulge a lot with this setup.

Congratulations on the purchase! What are your thoughts on the quality of these rotors? I personally think they’re the best 2-piece OE replacements in the market.
