  3. Z Update from my dealership

So reporting back. Right now they still don't have a definitive date when they will get their first allocations but the sales rep told me they'd let me know when they start to show up. I gave them info on what trim/colors/etc I wanted and they noted that down. They said they learn about a month...

  6. Z Update from my dealership

I'm going to go see my dealer tomorrow and see if they have any news as well. They are supposedly one of the biggest GT-R/Z sellers in the state so I HOPE they have something.

Yeah NC is the same way. Taxes on the new car are reduced based on how much the trade in impacted the purchase price.

My Challenger is valued around 30k according to KBB at the dealer and a little less for private. If I get ANYWHERE near that I'll be golden payment wise. Plus where I live it'll be a super easy turn around for them haha. I also just prefer the convenience of the dealer. To this date (everything...

My trade-in won't really be ready until about November when I pay it off but I want to get ahead of the game if I can. Also random question. In your experience do you get better value selling your car to a dealer vs trading it in at the time of sale? Or does it matter?
  10. Official: U.S. 2023 Nissan Z priced at $39,990 Sport, $49,990 Performance, $52,900 Proto Spec (Now Including Exterior/Interior Color Combos)

Awesome thank you. The dealer I'm working with is one of the highest Z car selling ones in the state so they should be good. Just need to bug em more haha.

@McLovin157 are US dealers already starting to take down what people want to order? I've contacted mine (N. Carolina) and haven't heard anything back yet. Number 4 on their "list" for what it's worth.

  14. 2023 Nissan Z Reviews Are In (Compiled List Inside)

Why the heck did the hood look like it was shaking so damn much in the TST Road Test video? Doesn't look like that in any of the other drives with that POV. 🤔

Gonna need to keep two space heaters in the trunk to warm the tires up between pulls.

  17. Official: U.S. 2023 Nissan Z priced at $39,990 Sport, $49,990 Performance, $52,900 Proto Spec (Now Including Exterior/Interior Color Combos)

The only thing I'm worried about is if/when my dealer will let me order the one that I want and that it'll be here sometime before I retire haha.
  18. Matt Maran: 2023 Nissan Z (Manual) - 40K Bargain? Yes and No...

Unless people have actually experienced what all of the shortages are doing first hand it can be a hard pill to swallow. I didn't expect mid 2021 pricing to flow into 2022 with zero changes. Nissan probably didn't announce Performance pricing at that time for that exact reason. Still, though...
  19. U.S. Pricing Possibly Leaked in 2023 Nissan Z Review: $40K Base, $50K Performance, $53K Proto

The Shanghai ship situation can't be understated. Alot of automotive manufacturers (mine included) are struggling to even get basic materials in like rubbers and plastics. Our production was reduced by 20% last month JUST because of that.
