Did a 550 mile day trip yesterday. Z just glided down the interstate both ways. That MPG is impressive.

And yeah, it was effing hot yesterday. Hit 105 at one point.

Just a couple numbers off from a nice average speed and time of day too ?

In the central valley of California we saw 109° both directions. The glass was uncomfortably warm.

I wonder if I could get a software upgrade to get the temperature on the dash of my '23.

Over the weekend some of the ZONC members went on the Breakfast Club Tokyo Calling 4 Rally on the back roads of Solano, Napa, and Sonoma counties in California. Started at Mare Island (Vallejo) and ended at Petaluma. Many very twisty roads that let me improve my highly suspect paddle shifting skills.... Notice the Skyline GTR (R32 I think) in front of the blue Z)

I know my '23 shows the outside temperature in the Normal mode of the "meter" screen, but not in the Sport mode. (I never use the Enhanced mode).

Ditto. Seems like an easy software change.

I love the Corolla and Celica. The Mitsubishi truck is also lovely.

On our toad trip we had to omit this part of the coast, next time.

I keep bouncing between normal and enhanced... enhanced was nice for the road trip giving more screen space for my route and trip data and if you are doing a route you get a full color map on the dash it's pretty darn nice. Probably 90% of the time though I drive in normal mode.

A little busy first 2 weeks with the car (offically tomorrow LOL) and I plan on doing my thoughts at about 1,500 miles - just to share - @ 880 miles now.

Tinted rear tail lights and quarter markers and last night got home and decided to paint engine cover. By EOW should have artwork for wrap done so we can get that going.
