Fairlady Z badging on non-Japanese Z

I realized I had a Fairlady Z badge should I stick it on? (Leaning towards no)

Is this how you guys lined it up like perfectly with the curve where no paint is showing? And then flush with the bottom edge all the way across?

Any last minute tips?

Yes thats how I did it, flush with the spoiler no paint showing. I had to make very minor adjustments to make sure the Z was level to the lines of the car. I used a little leveler to make sure it was straight. I'm ocd like that. I also used painters tape to hold it on when I found the sweet spot. I'm sure you already know to press firmly down on the badge before taking off the plastic or blue foam to ensure there's no gaps in the adhesive.

ok cool it felt like when you make the Z level the foam under "F" just a little raised up. but it looks like the F starts lower any way.

my neighbor is a car detail guy and is gonna help me as he says he debadges cars for customers all the time.

was just making sure that curve at the edge was supposed to cover all the paint and then you get like a tiny bit of the point of the foam hanging off.

so basically you just painters tape the top of the template to the car then take the backing off and let it fall into place.?

Don't worry about the Fairlady being at a slight curve. Only the z needs to be level. Use the lines from the taillight for reference.

Tinted the tail lights dark. Removed the Z. Next step is to mount the Japanese Katakana Fairlady Z emblem but I want to paint the lower part of the spoiler black and then mount it. Any suggestions?
