It only gets worse for them globally

On a different note the videos of the proto getting all the mods such as turning, coilovers, exhaust and BOV, at what point have you voided warranty with these mods.
The engine tune and coilovers seem like an affordable mod that would give good results, what are everyone's thoughts

My understanding is that modifying the vehicle does not outright void the warranty- however, if you have a failure that can be reasonably attributed to something you've modified, the repair claim can be refused.

Ie, you fit aftermarket suspension, lowering the vehicle from factory ride height and changing the geometry. Your lower control arm bushes flog out- not covered.

Hi all, it is with heavy heart I am pulling out from this Z saga.
After being led to darkness by the “manufacturer” it is highly unlikely we will see the regular Coupe this year.
I wish you all the best especially @West Aussie ?.
Ciao

No manuals till next year to at least Jan next year. Can’t tell you details because my dealer has informed me, but can’t put it through in writing.
Ask your own dealers. They would all have the same memo

The only good thing to come out of that conversation is that I am within the first 100 orders in the whole of Aus so if I continue my car should be on that first shipment….but at this point I’ve totally lost hope
For those who ordered late last year or this year. Think about that.
I’m top 100 ….I ordered in April 2021

Your dealer specifically said that you can’t share details? WTF is going on?

You’re sounding as bad as they are.

If it’s been sent out to the dealership network (and relayed to customer) it’s in the public domain.

He literally read the update back to me…. It said he can’t email it to me
Unless he sat there for 30 minutes and wrote up something just for me, he’s telling the truth ( but maybe Nissan don’t want customers to know)
It’s pretty self evident what’s happening.
What I can say is manuals will not be shipped until Dec at the earliest…with deliveries taking around another 6-8 weeks after shipment

I get it it, but as my dealer was honest with me I don’t really want to dump him in it so to speak, any more than I have
I’ve only said as much as I have because I know many of you guys like me, have been waiting forever and are in the dark

Just asked straight out if Nissan had a production problem that would delay delivery of manual
cars, answer that i got back, nothing that we know of

Anybody else wondering if the delay on the manuals is due to the reported '2nd gear grind' issue? Remember when Nissan's engineers were celebrating the 'improvements' made to 1st/2nd gear syncros?

If that's the case, and they are rectifying before they release it- I'm kinda glad. I'd rather the factory do the work, than have the car sit at the dealer for weeks post-delivery to fix it. ?‍♀

Again…
I didn’t know anything about it to the guy going through Werribee dealership posted online.
I phoned my dealer (different state different dealer) and he literally read the memo to me probably shouldn’t have, but at least he is being honest.

Guys I got no reason to make this stuff up, you know how long I’ve been here, and even though I keep threatening to go elsewhere, I always seem to get suckered in and keep on waiting
