I'm new to the forum, but ordered a manual Proto back in Oct 2021 here in WA.
Spoke to my dealer yesterday, no build date yet on the system for mine but he reckons it'll be Dec before it arrives over here. Hopefully he's wrong and it'll arrive in Sept/Oct

The USA gets it first, but 9" screen shortage they say
Yeah that's a load of crap, they're likely using up old stock. It is odd that they do it with their premium vehicles, our current Patrol gets similar treatment; no CarPlay whatsoever.

Ok so on Facebook we have someone (maybe one of you) stating their dealer now has their demo in.

What’s a girl to do…of course get on the phone and see what’s happening at her dealer.
Well I’ve done it again, because my dealer that replaced my first dealer has now also left…yep you heard it, two dealers gone whilst I wait for my Z

Anyway onto my third dealer…she seems on the ball, and confirmed that demos have arrived in WA as well. Theirs is in pre delivery and they are hoping it will be on show by Monday
She also said the lady who can check deliveries on the boat was not in today, but if I go in on Monday she should be able to let me know if the car in en route and approximate timelines, and because I have ordered so early she seems to think it should be on its way (obviously no guarantees)
So I’m going in on Monday to have a closer look and hopefully get some good news.

Again….not getting my hopes up till I know for certain that it’s coming…hopefully it’s a case of third dealer lucky

I will say, it’s a good thing I’m staying on the ball with this as I’m sure I would be lost in the dealer change overs if I hadn’t @Ballast Scorcher she also said only 2 Protos are coming to WA apparently…so you will be indeed unique

Two dealers gone at my dealership too. I don't blame them either, Nissan Australia have just recorded their worst sales year on record.

My dealer mentioned to me the other day that they had only received 2 new cars from Nissan last month. So extremely difficult to sell Nissan's over here in WA when there's very little stock

Yeah…but a windfall for the one that stayed…she’s about to get a whole stack of delivery fees and hasn’t had to put up with us all whinging about it for a year ?
I got another contract ( my third) to sign…bloody government stamp duty went up by $60 at the end of the financial year ….no reduction in the LCT though ???
I’ll be pushing for free mats
