I can't find a Youtube video on changing the manual transmission fluid on our new Z but found older ones for a 370Z. Do we use the torque specs for 370Z for the transmission and differential fill and drain plugs?

I found the replacement washer part numbers and am replacing them when changing:
4: 11026-4N200(enough for transmission and differential fill and drain plugs)

370Z Specs:

Manual Transmission:
10mm hex socket for fill and drain plug
25ft lbs for fill and drain plug

Rear Differential:
10mm hex socket for fill and drain plug
26ft lbs for fill and drain plug

370Z Specific Video:

The diff and manual transmission fluid process is exactly the same. Just buy two fluid pumps for filling each one, you can keep them in the bottles and transfer as you get new gallon jugs.

Crack the fill plug loose before you drain the MT / Diff fluid, so you know you can get it off and don't get stuck with a car you can't fill with fluid.

22-26 ft lbs for the drain & fill plugs is an acceptable range.

Personally, I always find doing the MT fluid to be more annoying as I hate being under the middle section of a car.

On my S2000 I would work a clear vinyl tube onto a big funnel, and I would run the clear tube to the fill port of the manual tranny from the engine bay. I bought one funnel and about 5 feet of vinyl hose, and cut it to length as needed for that vehicle. The funnel would sit in the engine bay. I would fill the entire tranny from the engine bay. Excess fluid would drain out into a pan and I would put a bit more fluid into the funnel and tube than the capacity of the tranny. It was so easy, much less time spent under the vehicle. Since you aren't pumping fluid under there you just reach over and remove the drain and fill bolts, feed in the tube to the fill port, zip it up and clean once full. So much easier and less time spent under a vehicle.
